I had no idea what to title this.
I’m excitedly going on a date on Saturday.
Yes, I guess I’m dating again. I got the Mpox vaccine (I decided to get it when I started perusing the dating app again…more about that later).
He’s wonderful. On paper and on the phone.
Now lets see if he’s as wonderful in person.
I’m giddy. I’m excited. I’m nervous. I’m going to throw up.

Yay!
Love that for you. One thing though: have FUN. As in, have your fav dish, have your fav wine/beer/beverage. have a good time. Then, if he’s as good in person as in paper, double yay!
XOXO

If you must throw up, do it BEFORE the date, unless you want a memorable story to tell the grandkids decades later.

Boy you’re so much braver and better than I. That’s the part I can stand, and why I won’t do it. I’m still old fashioned I’d like to meet face to face from the beginning or in Social settings. Most of the people I ended up dating I actually met in person or through mutual friends. I’ve heard too many horror stories and heartbreaks over the dating apps, and I’ve never been into dating apps to begin with. Good luck and keep us posted
